RPR Open PRS Bolt Series
The Reveille Peak Ranch Open, directed by Clay Hergert, owner of ATX Precision, will be an exciting challenge in the Texas Hill Country. Located 1.5 hours NW of the Austin airport, 3 hours from Dallas/ Ft Worth, and 4 hours from Houston, RPR sits on unique and scenic terrain. Participants will shoot across hills, canyons, ridge lines, and river valleys at static targets and movers on the 1300-acre facility. The 20 stages will specifically focus on the shooter’s skills in natural settings. In addition to the match, we will hold an open range, vendor day, and a welcome social event on Friday SEPT 14th.
All shooters must attend the in-brief at 6 pm, Sept 14th at the Range classroom. **NO EXCEPTIONS**
Round count will be 200.
20 Stages, 10 per day, with one stage being a transit off of the ridge line, 55% prone.
Day 1 will be along the ridge line shooting into the natural ranch terrain: valleys, river beds, natural vegetation, etc. 500-1500 yards. Most of the obstacles are real terrain: rock faces, trees, etc. We will have a tripod stage (stage provided or bring your own) on day 1.
Day 2 will be on the range complex side. 7 stages shooting from/ into natural terrain and 3 shooting into the bays. 300-1100 yards with some artificial obstacles and barricades, as well as the mover stage.
No special equipment necessary. Bipods and bags will get you through. We have one stage that must be shot from a backpack, no bipods. You may use the stage backpacks or your personal one.
1 point per hit, all steel targets, no handgun stages.
Logistics will be provided via shuttle ring routes for the longer transits. Shooters can walk between most stages and once you are out on the ridgeline.
2 zero ranges will be available.
Open range day is Friday, September 14th, 0900-1600. Approximately 55% of the stages will be available as well as some additional ranges for tune up. Logistics out to the ridge line are prohibitive for the remaining stages unfortunately.

We will host a social event/ happy hour (drinks and light appetizers) after the in-brief Friday and again after the conclusion of Saturday’s stages.
