RPR Open PRS Bolt Series
The Reveille Peak Ranch Open, directed by Clay Hergert of ATX Precision and hosted by Reveille Peak Ranch (RPR) Solutions, will be an exciting challenge in the Texas Hill Country. Located 1.5 hours NW of the Austin airport, 3 hours from Dallas/ Ft Worth, and 4 hours from Houston, RPR sits on unique and scenic terrain. Participants will shoot across hills, canyons, ridge lines, and river valleys at static targets and movers on the 1300-acre facility. The 20 stages will specifically focus on the shooter’s skills in natural settings, with very broad stage parameters. We want to see innovative ways to work the problems!
In addition to the match, we will hold an open range and a welcome social event on Friday SEPT 27th.
All shooters must attend the in-brief at 4:30 pm, Sept 27th at the Lakeside Pavilion–**NO EXCEPTIONS**.
Round count will be 190.
20 Stages, 10 per day, with one stage being a transit off of the ridge line, 55% prone.
We are capping the number at 100 shooters total this year to keep the quality and flow high.
Day 1 will be along the ridge line shooting into the natural ranch terrain: valleys, river beds, natural vegetation, etc. 500-1500 yards. Most of the obstacles are real terrain: rock faces, trees, etc.
Day 2 will be on the range complex side. 7 stages shooting from/ into natural terrain and 3 shooting into the bays. 300-1100 yards with some artificial obstacles and barricades, as well as the mover stage.
No special equipment necessary. Bipods and bags will get you through.
1 point per hit, all steel targets, no handgun stages.
Major movement logistics will be provided via shuttle ring routes. Please be prepared to walk between the other (close) stages: Day 1: 1 x 150 yard walk; 1 x 350 yard walk. Day 2: 1 x 350 yard walk, all remaining walks less than 120 yards. Hit us up if you need a helping hand!
ATVs are welcome! We will have secure parking for trailers and ATVs to remain on site. Please indicate in the sign-up page if you are bringing one.
Zero ranges will be available to everyone on Friday and Sunday.
Open range day is Friday, September 27th, 0900-1600. All of the stages, including the ridge line, will be available as well as some additional ranges for tune up.
All shooters must attend the in-brief at 4:30 pm, Sept 27th at the Lakeside Pavilion–**NO EXCEPTIONS**
Social event will immediately follow the in-brief at the pavilion
The temps will still be hot so we will have plenty of water/ snack stations.
After last year’s T-Shirt mess, we are going with Yeti Tumblers for each participant and volunteer to say thank you for joining us!
We certainly welcome you! Please consider setting up an information table during the Open Range day. We will host a social event following the in-brief, which is another great opportunity to showcase your product. We even have a 100 yard range near the pavilion if you want live fire demo space.
Please contact us here for more information or if you would like to set up demo space or want to do anything in conjunction with the social event such as media space. We will make it happen!
We need your help! If you would like to volunteer, we will take care of you!
ROs will get VIP access to shoot on Friday Sept 27th. If you are traveling in from out of the local area, we will cover your hotel fees and lunches. Coffee too! We will also have RO only prizes to be awarded. Additionally, you also get two quarterly Club Series match entry fees waived.
