Precision Rifle One

All skill levels are welcome–beginners to seasoned PR shooters. We use an individualized approach to coach each person in the science of long range shooting.
Topics covered:
- Rifle fit and ergonomics, particularly with the scope settings, eye relief, and focus
- Zeroing and setting up your scope dials
- Marksmanship fundamentals and field best practices
- Defining MOA and MRAD, explain differences and similarities
- Environmental impacts to your shot solution
- Data management
- Ammunition selection
- Setting up and using a ballistic solver app
- Spotting
- Equipment considerations for your intended use
- Next steps to take on your own
Our number one goal is a solid progression and fun, stress-free experience for each shooter. All classes are right on the range so there is very little down time between firing strings.
We use one instructor for every four students so you never get lost or ignored in a large group. You will get lots of one-on-one coaching!
We have all the shooting mats, spotting optics, target materials, and lots of extra support bags to try out. You will need to bring your rifle, any spacers or accessories included with your rifle, 160 rounds of ammo, and a sack lunch/ water.
When you sign up, we will email you the start times and locations along with a detailed list of gear to bring. Our primary training venue is at Reveille Peak Ranch near Burnet, Tx.

Private Instruction
$960.00**Fall 2025 UPDATE-We are scaling back private lesson availability while we expand into a couple Western mountain locations. PR1 Classes remain unchanged. Email us if you need more options!**
One-on-one private instruction tailored to your skill level.
For those new to the sport, this is an excellent introduction in a low-stress, relaxed environment. We spend a great deal of time getting your equipment and optics adjusted properly so you can be as comfortable as possible.
For the more seasoned shooters out there, private instruction will really accelerate your skill to the next level.
Private Lessons are 4 hour blocks of instruction. A second person may participate in the private lesson for an additional $400.

If you need ammo, please contact us. We often have small quantities, but pricing and brands fluctuate too much to put up on the checkout page.
Once you book a slot, we can adjust start times very easily to accommodate morning schedules or commute times–we make it easy!

Once you sign up, we will contact you right away to start building the relationship and your plan for success. Jaco and his team will guide you through all the travel arrangements to make logistic planning very easy.
